Thank Goodness It's....Thursday.
When I started this blog a couple of weeks ago, I never really realized how busy I was with school and work. While I update Twitter and Instagram regularly, I could never just sit down at write. It felt everything was piling up and would never get done. Mostly reading for classes, but you know how that goes, and a couple of papers here and there. I just haven't had to have anytime to myself. So, when I knew that fall break was starting this week, you better believe I got "fall break fever." I am glad to kick my feet up for a couple of days, even though I am still working, and forget about classes, reading, test, and papers that are coming up.
Do you have fall break? Do you wish that your school or college had fall break? What do you plan on doing?

Diving In
I don't believe that I have enough fingers to count how many times I have tried to start a blog and have forgot about a couple days or weeks later. While having a blog on Tumblr is beyond easy or at least it is to me. All you really have to do is reblog things and you're done. However, making a blog about my thoughts, what I like and don't like, and so on has been a challenge in the past. So, here I am giving it another go around and I plan on sticking with it.
Now, I know what you are thinking right now, "She's tried to start one before and never kept up with it." I can, honestly, say that this time will be different. Why? Well, because this past weekend I finally decided to do something that I have never done before, (That story is for another time, but don't worry you will find out.), and I didn't make it. I was devastated over the fact that I had been worrying about this for the past month to only not get it. I was pretty down over this the next day, but then I received a email from Prep Talk and it was all about trusting yourself. For some reason this really stuck with me over the past couple of days and I knew that I really wanted to do something, but I was lacking in actually trusting myself with it. Which I was lack a lot in after this weekend. After contemplating over the past couple of days if I really wanted to do this, here I am.
I guess the moral of this "story" is to learn to trust yourself and your gut. Don't be afraid to fail at something and don't let that failing stop you from doing what you really what to do.
I will leave you with this one last thought.
